If an item includes a manufacturer’s warranty that lasts 3 years or longer, does Allstate’s Protection begin after that?

Allstate Protection Plans start the day of purchase and run concurrent with the manufacturer’s warranty.  Manufacturer plans typically will not cover accidental damage or stains, so adding an Allstate Protection Plan protects against that type of damage from the date the plan is purchased.  If you report an issue to Allstate that the manufacturer covers and it is within the manufacturer’s coverage period, you will be referred to your local Big Lots store to utilize the manufacturer’s coverage included in the item’s purchase price.
